When we began researching naturist destinations for our next naked holiday, we discovered a number of resources, but became frustrated because many of the listings were out of date.
Rosie began making written lists of naturist hotels and villas. Being the organised that person she is, this hand-written list was soon compiled into a spreadsheet containing website details, social media links, key features and a quick description.
And then, one dark evening over a glass of wine, she suggested that we should create an online resource so that other naturists could use the information and contribute their own favourite destinations.
Ever since, we have been hard at work on the new website. We wanted to provide separate lists for hotels, villas, campsites and apartments, searchable by country and highlighted on a world-wide map. We decided that each property would have its own listing containing full contact details, including social media links and have the provision to add photographs. We thought that it would be great if anyone who owned or managed a naturist property could add or amend their own listing, free of charge.
We’re delighted to announce that the Bare Cheek, Naturist Travel Directory is now open.
Rosie and I will continue to expand the directory as time allows, but hope that other naturists will register for the site and help us keep it up to date.
